Examination and comparison of handwriting, signatures and hand printing.

Identification of mechanical impressions and instruments including typewriters, chequewriters, rubber stamps, printers, photocopiers and fax machines.

Ink and paper examinations.

Deciphering/examination of indented writing, alterations, erasures, and obliterations.

Forensic
Training

Completion of a two year training program in Forensic Document Examination, Centre of Forensic Sciences, Toronto, Canada 1985.

Diploma in Document Examination (FSSoc Dip) awarded by the Forensic Science Society (now the Chartered Society of Forensic Sciences) of England in 1995 after completion of Society exams.

Diplomate of the American Board of Forensic Document Examiners since 1996.
